The experience behind the work.
I am an experienced football coach with over 12 years’ experience in player evaluation, talent identification, and performance analysis from U7’s age group through to U21’s. I’ve a proven record in identifying promising players, several who have played at League of Ireland and Northern Ireland Football League levels respectively. One particular player has been at Preston North End and recently played in UEFA Conference League qualifiers versus Rosenborg and Caernarfon Town.
I have recently become an active participant in the PFSA programme.I have also managed Newry City AFC Reserves and played in the Northern Ireland Football League Premiership (Development League).
I am passionate and enthusiastic and enjoy sharing knowledge both verbally and practically with players. I am competitive and driven to succeed. I am skilled at identifying natural talent in players and understand how to hone and develop skill sets to maintain interest and challenge players to be their best for their personal benefit and also of the team.
I create a playing environment that is welcoming and enjoyable, focusing on developing cohesion and team spirit amongst players. I am rehearsed in dealing with parents and managing expectations, possessing a natural ability for conflict management.
