Implement the club’s coaching and playing philosophy to enhance the development of the U17 squad

Plan, prepare and deliver innovative, technical and tactical coaching to contribute to U17 players progression and development

Manage the squad on match days; responsible for team selection, game plan and in-game tactical decisions; ensuring the players are confident to perform

Responsible for the management of coaching staff; ensure all sessions delivered are in line with the coaching philosophy

Devise, design and implement IDPs for players, as well as manage and record key statistical information relating to U17 players

Contribute to talent identification processes and player recruitment in conjunction with the Academy Director

Communicate weekly plans to parents regarding training and matches, and manage match-day interaction with officials and opposition coaches

Coaching Duties: Manage open training days and attended games to assist in the identification of players to represent the Emerging Talent Programme (ETP) Implement the coaching philosophy to enhance the development of the players, as set out by the Director of Football Plan, prepare, and deliver innovative age-appropriate coaching sessions to further the technical and tactical development of the players Manage the squad on match days; responsible for team selection, implementation of the game plan, and in-game tactical decisions Ensure the players were confident to showcase their skills in matches Manage coaching staff; ensure all sessions delivered are in line with the coaching philosophy set out by the Director of Football Devise, design and deliver Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for players Communicate weekly plans to the Director of Football and ETP Administrator Manage match-day interaction with officials and opposition coaches
