Dean Gallagher

Dean Gallagher, known on the oche as “The Mean Machine”, is a 30-year-old Irish darts player representing Donegal Darts. Standing at 6ft and throwing right-handed with 24g darts, Dean is recognised for his scoring power, composure on big finishes, and consistency at elite level. A two-time All-Ireland Champion, Dean has built an outstanding competitive record, including over 60 tournament victories, 34 vault wins, and an unbeaten five-year run in the City of Derry League. His achievements also include an iconic 9-dart finish and eight Player of the Year awards.

Dean has competed and performed live on major stages, including the Modus Super Series and the ADC Global Championship. He currently holds rankings across multiple organisations, including INDO Men’s (20), PDC Challenge Tour (180), WDF UK & Ireland Open (65), and WDF Main Ranking Open (310). With a highest checkout of 170 and a favourite double of 20, Dean continues to compete at a high standard and push his game forward on both national and international platforms.
