BIO
Playing League of Ireland WU23 football at 17 years old is just the start for me, not the finish line.
Currently, I start in midfield for Dundalk FC’s WU23s, regularly playing full 90-minute matches. My starting position is central midfield but I’m equally comfortable operating as a No. 6 or on the wing. I genuinely enjoy that versatility—it lets me adapt to whatever game plan the manager needs. I see my versatility as one of my biggest strengths.
As a midfielder, I enjoy the influence I have at both ends of the game. I love getting on the ball, looking for vertical passes, and unlocking chances, but I’m just as driven by the defensive side. I’ll track runners, press hard, and fight to win possession. My goal is simple: make a tangible impact whether we’re in possession or out of it, supporting teammates and competing at high intensity from the first whistle to the last!
From a young age, I have always been ambitious and competitive but someone my teammates can rely on and a player a coach can trust to carry out a role before or during a game. I enjoy being challenged and have always competed to play alongside players who push the standards and raise the expectations.
Progressing through the CMUL county setup and Ulster U16 Interprovincial to League of Ireland U23s has shown me what higher intensity looks like. Stepping up to this level at the age of 14 highlighted where I needed to grow, and motivated me to improve, raise my bar and get a space on the U19 starting team at 15 which I succeeded in. Each step forward has made me more determined to see what the next one could be.
Off the pitch, I’m sitting my Leaving Certificate in 2027 with seven Higher Level subjects. Balancing the demands on and off the pitch has disciplined me and requires excellent skills in the area of organisation, communication and managing my time. Education matters to me and I want to leave university with a strong degree and career opportunities alongside everything I hope to achieve in football.
The United States college route as always been a vision from a young age. The combination of elite strength and conditioning, daily competitive standards, and solid academics is the ideal environment for my next step. I’m not looking at four years in the US as just a college experience. I see it as the platform to take my football to the professional level.
I know there are no shortcuts in this game. I’m looking for a program that will challenge me, trust my potential, and give me the chance to earn my spot. I am ready to offer consistency, resilience, sacrifice and a huge amount of work to step up to the next level and continue to achieve at the highest standards possible in soccer.
