Jack Beasley

Jack Beasley is a promising young centre back currently playing for Cliftonville FC, where he’s is already playing in the U16, U18 and the U20 reserve squads. Jack has flourished in a demanding environment and has quickly established himself as a regular performer in the U20 Reserves League — a clear reflection of his maturity, consistency, and trustworthiness when stepping up against older, more experienced opposition. Strong in the tackle, composed on the ball, and tactically sharp, Jack is the kind of defender every team wants at the heart of their back line.

A true captain on the pitch, Jack leads by example — constantly organising, encouraging, and lifting those around him. He’s vocal, dependable, and never shy of taking responsibility, whether he’s playing with his own age group or stepping up against older opposition. Jack also brings a serious goal threat. Known for his aerial ability, he scores with his head from set pieces — but he’s just as capable of finding the net from open play and long range. Whether it’s a powerful strike from distance or a clever finish in the box, Jack consistently chips in with important goals.

He began his football journey with Tristar FC before progressing through the Derry City Academy, where he represented County Derry at the SuperCupNI and earned selection for the FAI National Pathways Programme — a key development pathway for elite young players in Ireland. Thriving at Cliftonville Jack continues to grow in confidence, presence, and technical ability. With his leadership qualities, defensive strength, and growing experience at multiple levels of the game, he is firmly establishing himself as one of the standout young centre backs in Irish football.
